Buildcon stand-in coach Tenant Chembo is disappointed with his performance following their exit from the CAF Confederation Cup after a one-all draw away in Eswatini.
Chembo believes his team should have finished off the match in the first half as they had a lot of chances which they unfortunately squandered.
"We are very disappointed that we have bowed out of the competition. This was a game we should have finished off in the first half. In football, if you miss chances and your opponents get one chance you lose. At this level, we playing at we must learn to finish when we create chances," he said.
"This is a competition and you have to prepare. For them to sail through they did something. Their biggest strength is the cohesion. They have been playing together for a long time, " he added.
Team Kopala scored a quick goal just 49 seconds through Kayembe Alidor, Young Buffaloes, however, drew level seven minutes into the second half thanks to a Fanelo Mamba strike to ensure the match ended in a draw and Buildcon bowed out losing 2-1 on aggregate.
