Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus missed the 3-1 win over Bournemouth after picking up a hamstring injury in training.
The Brazilian was handed a start in the 5-0 win against West Ham in City's campaign opener and came on as a substitute against Spurs as he thought he had scored an injury-time winner in the 2-2 draw only for his goal to be canceled after Aymeric Laporte handled the ball inside the box.
A statement on the club's official portal confrimed that Jesus had suffered an injury, "Gabriel Jesus has suffered a hamstring injury in training and will miss today's game at Bournemouth. The Brazil striker, who has looked sharp since returning from his summer break, will be back to full fitness after the international break."
Guardiola made one change from the side that drew against Tottenham eight days before with David Silva coming back into the starting XI and summer signing Rodri dropping to the bench.
