  • Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns in action.

This evening is already round four of the Absa Premiership and many coaches already face a fateful night. There will be action in just about every corner of Mzansi where hopefully we will enjoy an abundance of goals and drama.

There'll be Absa Premiership football in Port Elizabeth,  Pietermaritzburg, Polokwane, Bloemfontein and Johannesburg...

Pirates, winless in a staggering five games, will make Orlando the most nervous place in South Africa as the club welcome an always hard-to-break Golden Arrows.

Pirates’ last five:

  • Green Eagles 1-0 Pirates
  • SuperSport 3-0 Pirates
  • Pirates 0-1 Highlands Park
  • AmaZulu 0-0 Pirates
  • Pirates 1-1 Green Eagles.

Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns will take a trip to Bloemfontein to face Celtic where we expect the Siwelele fans to bless the evening with song and dance. Pitso Mosimane’s side are yet to win a league game.

Sundowns’ last two:

  • Chippa 1-1 Sundowns
  • Sundowns 1-1 Chippa.

Elsewhere in Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg, there will be more teams desperate for their first win of the season including Chippa United and Stellenbosch FC.

Full fixtures:

  • Baroka vs Supersport Utd
  • Bidvest Wits vs Stellenbosch
  • Celtic vs Mamelodi Sundowns
  • Chippa Utd vs Polokwane
  • Maritzburg Utd vs Black Leopards
  • Orlando Pirates vs Golden Arrows.

Every game will get underway at 19:30 and you can follow all the live-action updates here on Futaa!
