Abdul Fatawu Safiu scored his maiden goal for Trelleborgs FF as the latter went on to secure a 2-1 win over Vasteras SK in the Swedish Superettan at the weekend.
Mattias Hakansson opened the scoreline early in the game before Safiu registered his name on the scoresheet before the halftime break.
Vasteras SK managed to score but in the end, it was a mere consolation goal on the road as they collect one point.
Safiu was signed to the second-tier club on loan from Asante Kotoko two weeks ago.
Trelleborgs FF have now moved to 11th on the table with 27 points after 22 games played this season.
