CAF CC: Zanaco to start first round tie away from home

Zambia Super League side Sensational Zanaco will start their CAF Confederation Cup first-round tie away in Mauritius.

Their opponents Bolton City will host them in the first leg on Sunday, 15 September 2019 at the New George V Stadium in Curepipe, Mauritius at 15:00hrs local time (GMT+4), 17:00hrs Zambian time. The Bankers will host the reverse tie which will be played two weeks later at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.

The winners over the two-legged tie will play one of the 16 losers from the Champions League in the Play-Offs to advance to the group stage. Zanaco wi leave for Mauritius next week Wednesday aboard an Emirates flight.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Tanzanian match officials for the first leg. Mfaume Ali Nassoro has been named as the center referee and will be assisted by fellow compatriots Ferdinand Chacha and Frank John Komba.

The fourth official will be Martin Eliphas Saanya also from Tanzania. Raoul Ramain Rabekoto from Madagascar will be the match commissioner.
