Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side Kano Pillars have parted ways with Hillary Paul Ikenna and Bature Yaro.
The 2019 Aiteo Cup Champions confirmed that the midfield duo have left the club following a mutual consent agreement.
“The two soldiers agreed to be released and move somewhere else after a meeting with the Management and Technical crew of the four-time Nigeria Professional Football League Champions,” wrote the club on their website.
The announcement comes just a day after the club announced extending the contracts of four of its technical team members.
The club included the note with a thank-you message while wishing the duo all the best for their future endeavours.
