Zambia U23 national team head coach Beston Chambeshi is confident his team will come out and do 'wonders' in the second leg of their 2019 Egypt U23 AFCON final round qualifier against Congo Brazzaville.
Zambia beat Congo Brazzaville 2-1 at Heroes Stadium on Wednesday and will now travel to Pointe Noire for the second leg. Chambeshi is expecting an open game but he is confident his team has what it takes to get over the Congo Brazzaville hurdle.
“All I can say is that we have played the first half and now we have the second leg, I believe in my team they can come out and do wonders so it will be a good game playing away from home,we look forward to the returning game I have confidence in my team however it will be an open game in Congo so will see how we can handle our preparations,” he said
The winner over the two legs will qualify to the 2019 AFCON that will be hosted by Egypt in November. The top three teams at the tournament will qualify to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
