With his Manchester United career blighted by injuries, Diogo Dalot has made a trip to China to visit a 'miracle' Brazilian doctor to solve his injury woes.
Dalot was signed by former United manager Jose Mourinho who termed him as "the best young full-back in Europe" after completing his £19.3m move from FC Porto. He would only feature six times under Mourinho before playing on another 17 occasions under his replacement Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
With the arrival of Aaron Wan Bissaka from Crystal Palace, Dalot fell further down the pecking order at United and was linked with an exit but Solskjaer stuck with the youngster. His injury woes have pushed him to see Brazilian physio Eduardo Santos at Chinese Super League club Shanghai SIPG in a bid to cure a long-standing hip problem.
French media gave Santos the nickname of the 'Miracle Doctor' back in 2015 when he managed to cure David Luiz of a hamstring injury in a much faster time than had been anticipated. Santos is also said to have treated the likes of Radamel Falcao, Mousa Dembele and Eliaquim Mangala in the past.
