Former Ghana international playmakers Michael Essien and Samuel Kuffour have been named in The Sun football's best African team to date according to Ghanasoccernet.
The duo was included alongside former Ivory Coast international Didier Drogba and one of Africa's most decorated players Samuel Eto'o.
Essien is remembered for his prominence during his time with Premier League side Chelsea while Kuffour was known for his exploits with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
Both players have won multiple titles including that of the coveted UEFA Champions League.
Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, Cameroon's Rigobert Song and South Africa legend Lucas Radebe are also on the team.
Liberian president and former player George Weah made the cut alongside Liverpool duo Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
Four-time African Footballer of the Year Yaya Toure was the man to complete the Sun's Best African XI.
