Ghana international striker Emmanuel Boateng has revealed that he would be open to returning to Europe if he was presented with a great opportunity.
Boateng who is currently plying his trade for Dalian Yifang spent time in Portugal and Spain before he made the move to China.
In an interview with Weekly Sports Ghana, the 23-year-old said he is currently enjoying where he is playing but believes he will return to Europe.
“Nobody knows tomorrow. If it is the will of God that I will return to Europe and play I will.”
“If the opportunity comes and I am still in shape and I realize it(the deal) is going to help my career, I think I will take it,” Boateng said.
The youngster joined Portuguese club, Rivo Ave in 2014 where the season proved successful and he was to join Moreinse the following year.
He spent two seasons with Moreinse before he caught the attention of Spanish side Levante and he was signed in 2017 where he scored a career hat-trick against Barcelona that ended their unbeaten streak.
The Chinese odyssey has been fruitful so far and Boateng will look to translate his performance to the national team if given the opportunity by the national selectors.
