Nkana Football Club will be without two times Zambia Super League golden boot winner Ronald “Sate Sate” Kampamba for this Saturday's trip to Buildcon as he continues recovering from a contusion on his triceps.
Kampamba who is popularly known as Landlord picked up the injury on his triceps after colliding with Green Buffaloes goalkeeper Prince Bwalya in the league's opening game at Nkana Stadium. Both team physio Mehu Vaniya and stand-in coach Manfred confirmed to the clubs official website that the striker will only be returning to full training Monday next week.
“Sate is still on rehabilitation there is still a pain in the triceps. He will only return to training on Monday next week. That means he will not be available for Saturday's game."
Fred Soutra Tshimenga and defender Collins Mulenga who missed the opening match due to injury have all recovered and resumed training ahead of the Buildcon game. Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba, Gift Zulu, Laison Thole, and goalkeeper Allan Chibwe are out with the CHAN national team in camp and will be joining the team on Thursday when they break camp.
Beston Chambeshi together with defender Moses Nyondo and midfielder Harrison Chisala are expected to join the team on their return from Congo Brazzaville where they helped the Zambia U23 national team qualify to the 2019 Egypt U23 AFCON.
