Chelsea attacker Lucas Piazon does not see his future at the club anymore and has indicated he would be seeking a ‘home’ after numerous loans.
The 25-year-old joined Chelsea as a 17-year-old, and was dubbed the next Kaka, but has never quite hit the levels expected over the seven years he has stayed at the club.
He signed a contract extension to stay at the club until 2022 before he was loaned out for a seventh successive season to Portuguese side Rio Ave last month.
With no hope for a future at Chelsea, the Brazilian is looking one more time, for good.
“My time at Chelsea is already over,” said Piazon as quoted by Squwka. “I’m 25; I’ve been on loan several times. I’ve been at Chelsea since 2011, I’ve been on loan almost all over Europe,”
“I’m tired of playing here and there, I need a place where I can feel at home. I want to know that in July I will return to the same place, to the same house,”
“I’d have a good season on loan, but I’d come back and was soon loaned again. There was no point in going out on loan, playing well, coming back, not being used and being loaned again,”
“There comes a time in your career that makes no sense anymore. By the way, I said exactly that three years ago and it didn’t go so well at Chelsea, it generated some discomfort,”
The former Brazil youth player has traversed Europe, moving from Spain, Holland, Germany, Italy before his latest move to Portugal.
He has featured for Reading, Fulham, and Malaga among others since making his move from Sao Paolo at a tender age of 17 in 2011.
