In this series of Futaa editorial, we've dug deeper to examine just how good the France squad is at the moment.
Before we looked at the strongest possible France XI and now we look at the "best of the rest", just highlighting the squad depth at Didier Deschamps' disposal.
🧮 France "B" team (4-2-3-1)
A few of these players have only risen to prominence in a France jersey after the 2018 World Cup triumph, most notably centre backs Lenglet and Laporte. Unfortunately, the latter is injured now after a solid start to Manchester City's title defence. Lucas Digne has impressed for Everton too in a marauding left-back role. In midfield, Ndombele and Rabiot will be hoping for a new lease on life after both made summer switches. Ndombele has looked good in a Tottenham jersey so far and Rabiot will have to be at his best to get game time in a competitive Juventus squad.
The front four were all involved at Russia 2018 and it's an attack bristling with talent.
