Sensational Zanaco captain ZiyoTembo says his team failed to utilize the many chances they created in Sundays CAF Confederation Cup tie against Bolton City.
The veteran defender was however impressed with the overall performance and the fighting spirit of the team.
"We worked very hard in the first half and we created a lot of chances but finished just a few we lacked the finishing power. Overall it was a good game and the fighting spirit," he said.
" As Zanaco we have a lot of quality players who are equal to the task. In the first half before Roger and Chitiya came out we had a lot of fighting power upfront. The two players who came in did well but missed a lot of chances."
"We have two away goals and we will utilize them at home. What was important was to score away from home," he added.
Tafadzwa Rusike and Roger Kola scored a goal each to help Zanaco to a 2-1 first-leg win away in Mauritius. The second leg is scheduled for Lusaka's Heroes Stadium in two weeks time.
The winner over the two legs will face off with one of the losers from the CAF Champions League for a place in the group stage.
