Coach of Enugu Rangers Benedict Ugwu is still hopeful of advancing to the next round after suffering a setback at the weekend.
Rangers were beaten 2-1 at AS Pelican in their CAF Confederation Cup first-leg first round game.
Ugwu believes all hope is not lost as correction will be made to avoid errors of the first leg.
“We lost but we are not out, we are hoping to beat them in the second-leg, we would have won the game but we lost this match by ourselves, we will take correction in the second match but we are sure to qualify,” Ugwu told brila.net.
“We just lost it like that, but we are hopeful of qualifying.”
A 1-0 victory in the return leg in Nigeria will see Rangers through to the next round.
