Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has hailed Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic, who arrived at the club in the summer transfer window.
The young American worked with Klopp during his time at Borussia Dortmund, and there were reports he wanted to take him to Liverpool after making the switch to England.
He, however, remained at the club and was signed by Chelsea in January 2019, but loaned back to the side until the end of the campaign.
He is still settling to life in London but has shown flashes of brilliance, clearly demonstrating why he was a man in demand.
Speaking ahead of the Chelsea vs Liverpool tie on Sunday, the German said he admires the American, and it was a good signing for the Blues.
"He is a proper player, young, dynamic. Great with both feet. A really good signing for them," he said when asked about the 20-year-old.
"He is unfortunately good and a super exciting player - a good signing,"
This will be the second time the two sides meet in a span of two months, having battled in the finals of the UEFA Super Cup, with the Reds winning on penalties.
They have started the Premier League season brightly and will hope to get one better against Chelsea, whom they haven't beaten away in two seasons.
