Toni Conceicao has been appointed by Cameroon as the new head coach on a two-year deal.
Cameroon's sports ministry announced the appointment of the former Portugal international on Friday. Conceicao who penned down a two-year contract with the five-time African champions replaces Clarence Seedorf, who was shown the door after a second-round exit at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Les Lions Indomptables will host the next African Cup in 2021, having last won the title in 2017 under Belgian coach Hugo Broos. The first game for the new boss will see him lead Cameroon against Tunisia on October 12th, 2019.
