Manchester City whalopped Watford 8-0 to bounce back from their shock loss to Norwich City as Bernado Silva bagged his first Premier League hat-trick.

City started the game in blistering fashion as before even the fans could settle on to their seats David Silva tapped Kevin De Bruyne's cross into the net with just 54 seconds on the clock as Pep Guardiola got the perfect response after going down to Norwich City last week.
Rocked by the goal, Watford let in the second in the seventh minute when Riyad Mahrez was brought down inside the box by Ben Foster. Aguero stepped up to take the penalty and held his nerve to slot the ball in the middle of the goal.
Quique Sánchez Flores' men were three goals down five minutes later when Riyadh Mahrez's free-kick was deflected in as Ben Forster as could do nothing to stop the ball from going in.
B. Silva goal
It did not take long for City to find their fourth as three minutes later when Otamendi flicked a corner on to Bernardo who was on his own to nod in from close range and get his first of the evening.
In the space of another three minutes, City were 5-0 up when De Bruyne slid Aguero down the left with a quick free-kick as the Argentine drilled across the face for Otamendi to tuck in from close range.
City broke the Premier League record for the quickest five goals in history during the first half of their rout of Watford. Blackburn Rovers held the previous record of scoring five goals in 24 minutes when they beat Sheffield Wednesday in 1997.
B. Silva goal
City began the second in similar fashion as the first and made it six four minutes after the resumption of the second half when David Silva turned smartly and puts Bernardo in on goal to make it half a dozen.

Guardiola's men were not taking their foot off the pedal as De Bruyne was allowed acres to gallop down the right and square. Bernardo actually miscontrolled the ball before lashing in at the second attempt for his hat-trick.

The final nail in Watford's coffin was hammered in the 85th minute when De Bruyne fired the ball into the roof of the net to get his name on the scoresheet.
City next face Preston North End in the League Cup on Tuesday 24th September while Watford face Swansea City on the same day.
