CECAFA: Kenya U20 team to face Zanzibar named

Kenya U20 head coach Stanely Okumbi has named his starting team that will take on Zanzibar in their opener at the CECAFA U20 Championship slated for FUFA Technical Center in Jinja on Sunday 22 September.

In goal is Kariobangi Sharks keeper Brian Bwire who will captain the side; Bwire depending on the defence of club mate Tom Teka, Boniface Mwangemi of Dagoretti High, John Otieno and Alvin Ochieng.

Stima’s Fidel Origa is part of a midfield that has Joshua Nyatini formerly of Kakamega High School and Patrick Otieno.

Sharks striker Sydney Lokale will lead the hunt of goals and will be supported by Wazito FC midfielder Musa Masika and Benson Omala of Western Stima.

The match kicks off at 4 pm EAT.
