Bolton City Youth Football Club captain Canerse James believes his team has already done something special by reaching this far in the Competition in their maiden season.
James admitted that the bankers were the favorites to progress to the next round. The bankers beat the Mauritians away and carry a 2-1 advantage heading into tomorrows encounter.
"We are a very young team and those who do not know, we just qualified from the lower league to the Mauritius top league and this is actually the first time we are participating in a CAF competition. It's already something special for us, We just beat Galaxy football club of Botswana which is also a good team, for us, we are not under pressure because we don’t have anything to lose. Zanaco is the favorite but we will try to play our football and have our chances and see if we can qualify it will be something historical for Mauritius so why not try to do it here,” James told Futaa Zambia.
" I know that tomorrows game will be very tough because Zanaco is a very good team and have very skillful players. They play attacking football and here in front of their fans it will be very difficult for us but football is unpredictable. We here to try and qualify so we will do our best and play the best football for the spectators back home and here," he added.
The two teams will go head to head at the National Heroes Stadium with the winner set to progress to the pre-group stage playoffs.
