Sensational Zanaco coach Numba Mumamba has declared his team ready to face Bolton City Youth Football Club of Mauritius in the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup First Round encounter.
The Bankers gaffer has revealed that his team will play an offensive game as they are looking to score a lot of goals en route to the pre-group stage playoffs.
"First foremost I must say we have prepared the team so that they are ready for challenges ahead. We are playing a good side, We saw them in Mauritius, They are tactically very good especially when defending. It was very difficult for us to score two goals but the good thing was that we managed to create the chances. Going into tomorrows game we have done all we could to make me sure the team is ready, We hope for the best. We will play a more offensive game so that we get the desired goals and progress to the next round, " he said.
"I think the element of complacency should not come in because we have been singing about this since we returned back from Mauritius and the players are aware that the team we are playing is not a team to underrate. They know that the challenge ahead is very big and they tuned to play tomorrow and get a positive result," he added.
Captain of the side Ziyo Tembo has confirmed that the players are ready for the match and are highly motivated that ks to their 2-0 win over KYSA in midweek.
"The morale in the team is very high. We are coming from a win in midweek. Everyone is looking forward to the game and we are all prepared for the game," he said.
Zanaco carries 2-1 advantage heading into the second leg. The bankers will host Bolton City tomorrow at 15:00hrs at the National Heroes Stadium with the winner over two legs set to progress to the pre-group stage.
