Nkwazi head coach Chris Kaunda says his team played ugly football because Nakambala Stadium is not an easy place to visit.
Kaunda told Futaa Zambia in a post-match interview that his team targeted a win or a draw in Mazabuka hence playing entertaining football was not their priority.
"The way we planned, The way it was going, We closed the game, We did not give them chance we had to play ugly today it was not about entertainment what we wanted was a point or a win," he said.
"It's a difficult game to play here. You know how it is. You were watching, You saw what happened on the pitch. We had to stay and only move when it was necessary," he added.
Jeff Banda equalized in the dying minutes of the first half after Felix Bulaya had put Nakambala Leopards in the lead to make sure the two teams shared the spoils at the end of 90 minutes.
