Nakambala Leopards head coach Zeddy Saileti expressed happiness with his team after they played out to a one-all draw with Nkwazi to pick up their first point of the season.
In a post-match interview with the ZamFoot Crew, Saileti said the team played better than they did in their first three games which all ended in defeat for the Sugar boys.
"I am happy about the game, we started very well and positively. Coming from three straight loses I think today my boys had a good character, We tried to play our game and created a lot of chances. We had a goal in the first half but unfortunately, we lost in the last minute (of the first half ) which Nkwazi capitalized on and equalized. From that point, the game was 50/50. In the second half, we pushed for a second goal but we couldn't get it. Today we have improved much better than the other games," he said.
" Of course it's a plus, we wanted three points but this is football we could not get the maximum points but a point is better it will motivate the boys to work in the next game (against KYSA)," he added.
Jeff Banda equalized in the dying minutes of the first half after Felix Bulaya had put Nakambala Leopards in the lead to make sure the two teams shared the spoils at the end of 90 minutes.
