Napsa Stars and Red Arrows played out to a goalless draw in a highly entertaining match while Green Buffaloes handed Lusaka dynamos their third defeat in a row.
At Woodlands Stadium, Napsa Stars and Red Arrows came into their week four showdown having both won their opening three games. The two teams, however, failed to break the deadlock as they settled for a point each at the end of 90 minutes.
In the early kick-off at the same venue, Green Buffaloes handed Lusaka dynamos their third straight loss. Two quick second-half goals from Leonard Mulenga and Moonga Chilumba put the Soldiers in the lead. Chris Mugalu pulled one back but it was not enough as Buffaloes held on to win 2-1.
At Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, Second half substitute, Peter Mwaangani scored the only goal of the game to guide Forest Rangers to their first win of the season beating Nkana 1-0. The twelve-time Super League Champions have now lost back to back games.
In Kabwe, Isaac Shamujompa scored a 14th-minute free-kick was enough for Buildcon as they managed a narrow one-nil win over Kabwe Warriors.
Napsa Stars have now gone to the summit of the log with Arrows moving second but third, placed Zesco United have played a game less.
