The family of Charles “The Chief” Chilufya are mourning the former player’s death. The former Zambian footballer lost his life on Sunday morning.
The sad passing of the ex-Bosso man was confirmed in local Zimbabwe media this morning. “Former Highlanders midfielder Charles “The Chief” Chilufya has died. The Zambian was part of the trailblazing Bosso team which won the league in 2002 under Eddie May. He also played for Sporting Lions for a short stint in 2003 before returning to the Bulawayo giants the following season,” wrote Soccer 24.
The Zambian’s passing follows right after Hamid “Muzukuru” Dhana death. Dhana lost a long battle with cancer before dying on Sunday.
