Manchester United have revealed their Player of the Month nominees for September, with three players in the running for the award.
Scott McTominay, who netted his first senior goal at Old Trafford during Monday's 1-1 draw with Arsenal, Mason Greenwood and August winner Daniel James will battle it out for the accolade for the past month.
Harry Maguire, who made the cut in August and goalkeeper David De Gea narrowly missed out on a place in the club's poll.
McTominay - 3 appearances, 1 goal
McTominay has become a key member of the United midfield and was particularly impressive against Leicester City and the Monday clash against Arsenal, where he scored a cracker of a goal.
He played all the three Premier League matches in September, even though he was rested for the Europa League and Carabao Cup clashes.
Daniel James – 4 appearances
James might have not scored in September for United, but he continued with his eye-catching performances that he put in August when he scored three goals in as many games.
His agility and pace on the wing is slowly defining him and has been likened to United great Ryan Giggs. At only 21, the winger can only get better and fans have reason to celebrate.
3. Mason Greenwood - 3 appearances, 2 goals
Greenwood has been a revelation anytime he has been called upon to start. He has scored two important goals in that period, finding the back of the net in the 1-0 Europa League win over Astana, before another well-taken goal against Rochdale in the Carabao Cup.
He is showing signs of a great striker in the box, and just like James, he is great talent.
