Arrows go top, Eagles cut Power as Kansanshi hold Nkana

Red Arrows have moved to the summit of the league following a 2-0 derby win while Green Eagles handed Power Dynamos their third defeat of the season.

At Nkoloma, Red Arrows continued their good start to the 2019/2020 Super League season as they beat fellow servicemen Green Buffaloes 2-0 at Nkoloma Stadium.

Evans Musonda and James Chamanga scored the two goals for the Airmen to hand the soldiers their third defeat of the season.

At Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, Zikiru Adams and Laurent Muma scored a goal each to guide Forest Rangers to a 2-0 win over Kabwe Warriors in an early kick-off.

In the second match of the day, Sensational Zanaco who was missing the services of their first choice striking partnership of Chitiya Mususu and Roger Kola were held to a goalless draw by Buildcon.

At Nkana Stadium, Idris Ilunga Mbombo scored a penalty to rescue a point for the twelve-time Super league Champions, Nkana after Lazarus Phiri had put Kansanshi Dynamos in the lead, 1-1 the match ended.

In Choma, Kennedy Musonda scored a brace while Shadreck Mulungwe added a second for Green Eagles who humbled Power dynamos 3-1 to ruin Guston Mutobo's start to life as head coach of the Kitwe based giants who lost 3-1.

In Mazabuka, Tanzanian striker Elias Maguri scored a brace to guide Nakambala Leopards to their first win of the season as the beat KYSA 2-0.
