Former Nigeria international Victor Moses has not featured in Fenerbahce's matchday squads since the start of the season when he ruptured his thigh muscle against Gaziantep FK.
Bearing the above in mind, Moses has missed the remaining six Super Lig matches played by Fenerbahce.
Moses has resumed training with the Istanbul-based club but was not considered for Friday's game against Antalyaspor.
According to Turkish sports newspaper Fotospor, Chelsea's medical team reportedly contacted Fenerbahce before the game against Antalyaspor and advised them not to field Moses.
It is believed that Moses will be fully ready to return to action in the next two weeks, that is likely to be after the international break.
The 28-year-old started the season on a fine note, scoring and providing an assist as Fenerbahce thrashed Gaziantep FK 5-0.
Moses's loan deal with Fenerbahce is expected to expire at the end of the 2019/20 season.
