The English Football Association and West Ham United are reportedly investigating the incident of foreign objects being thrown at Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew according to Daily Mail reports.
Ayew scored Palace's second goal in their 2-1 victory over West Ham and it is then reports emerged that fans threw bottles and other things at him after he celebrated his strike.
Daily Mail further revealed that West Ham and the FA were looking into the matter and working hard to find the suspects who were behind the industry - it is understood they could be handed a lifetime ban.
West Ham are reportedly also undergoing their own investigation on Palace fans who were at the stadium who allegedly threw a flare towards to the pitch which could have caused severe damage.
Ayew spoke to the reporters after the game concerning the incident, citing: ''I didn't even know about any bottles.
''My family was up at the box. They were there and I wanted to celebrate my goal in their direction," he said.
It is yet to be seen what the outcome will be of the ongoing investigations with both clubs.
