Niger head coach Check Omas Diabate is relishing the chance of playing 2012 Africa Cup of Nations Champions, Zambia and possibly beating them in tomorrow's international friendly match.
Diabate is anticipating a tough match against the Copper Bullets. He believes beating Zambia will be a good thing for his team but was also quick to point out the result of the match will not matter a lot to his side.
"We anticipate a tough game against Zambia knowing very well that its a powerhouse of football. The team is ready for the game though the result of the game will not matter very much to us," he said.
"Beating Zambia will be a good thing but u have to understand that our players are not very experienced. Yes, we have a few experienced players but we didn't have enough time to train together."
"Football is a game and these friendly games are there to help us asses how the players are doing. We are grateful to zambia for coming and we respect their national team so much. We are looking forward to the game."
Zambia and Niger will lock horns tomorrow, Thursday, October 10th at the Stade general Seyin Kaunlche.
