England youngster Mason Mount is set to make his first start for the national team when they take on the Czech Republic on Friday in a European Qualifier.
The 20-year-old made two substitute appearances for England last month against Bulgaria and Kosovo and according to Sky Sports, Mason will start for the Three Lions tonight. The Chelsea youngster has had a brilliant start to the Premier League, netting four goals which saw him earn a call to the national team while convincing Gareth Southgate he is ready for a start.
Southgate's men will miss the services of James Maddison after the midfielder pulled out of the squad through illness. The Three Lions have won all four of their qualifiers for Euro 2020 and will guarantee their place at the tournament with a victory on Friday.
