England's predicted lineup to face Czech Republic in EURO qualifier

England's preparations for Friday's Euro 2020 qualifier match against Czech have not been smooth, with James Maddison becoming the latest player to withdraw from the side.

Perhaps the biggest news surrounding the match is Mason Mount's involvement, with sources intimating he might get his maiden start against the Czechs.

The youngster has broken into the Chelsea starting lineup and put in assured performances, scoring four goals so far this campaign.

He is above Ross Barkley on the pecking order at club level, and it is believed Gareth Southgate might go the Lampard way and name him ahead of the former Everton man.

Mount made his senior debut in September as a second-half substitute against Bulgaria and Kosovo.

Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling remain as automatic starters for the Three Lions having scored 12 goals among them in the qualifiers, with Borussia Dortmund sensation Jadon Sancho also expected upfront.

Fikayo Tomori has been impressive for Chelsea at club level, but it might be too soon for him to get a starting berth at the back.

Southgate will probably go for the experienced Harry Maguire and Joe Gomez, with Chilwell and Trippier as fullbacks.

Here is England's predicted starting lineup;
