A lovely play from the Czech saw Kral play a one-two on the edge of the area with Darida, who improvised beautifully to chest the ball back into his path.
Kral had two men free to his left but decided to belt the ball towards the near post from the tightest angle. Pickford moved smartly to his left to beat it around the post.
With the game headed for a draw, debutant Ondrasek who had come off the bench was to put the hosts into the lead five minutes from time. The 30 years old, playing in the MLS picked a pass from Masopust to side foot the ball into the net from 12 yards; England reacting to the setback by bringing on Tammy Abraham for Declan Rice.
