Chibwe joins Chipolopolo camp, Set to make debut

The Zambia national team has been bolstered by the inclusion of Polokwane City goalkeeper Mwenya Chibwe who joined the squad in Benin last night.

Chibwe who finalized his passport formalities on Saturday morning to feature for the Chipolopolo. He is expected to make his Copper Bullets debut later this afternoon when the Chipolopolo Boys and the Squirrels square off in Cotonou.

The Polokwane City goalminder chose Chipolopolo over Bafana Bafana as he was eligible to feature for both COSAFA giants having been born in South Africa from Zambian parents.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper has been in fantastic form for Polokwane City and will be hoping to replicate the same form for the Copper Bullets.
