Manchester United is plotting loan deals for some of their players, with interest in the young players who need the experience to further their development.
Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has shown the willingness to integrate young players with the senior team, with Brandon Williams becoming the latest to be ushered into the bigger stage.
Some will, however, be allowed to leave in the next transfer window, with the club officials confirming a number of departures.
“Three lads could have possibly gone on loan – Angel Gomes, Tahith Chong and James Garner – but he wanted to keep them here and have a look at them on tour," said the Academy player performance manager Les Parry.
"So a decision will be made, no doubt, for January as well. Hopefully, all three will be in the first team and not going anywhere," he added.
Solskjaer is expected to bring in as many as five players in the January transfer window, as he hopes to arrest the underperforming season so far.
United are 12th on the English Premier League table on nine points after eight matches, with a serious dip in form and a poor start to the season in decades.
They next host Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday, hoping to get back to winning ways following a 1-0 loss to Newcastle last time out.
