Reports: Napoli ready to let Koulibaly leave

Napoli are reportedly growing resigned to losing defender Kalidou Koulibaly, and have since identified his replacement.

The Senegalese has been a prime target by a number of top clubs across Europe, with both the Manchester clubs and Real Madrid said to be interested in his signature.

For this reason, the Italian side have identified Athletic Bilbao's Unai Nunez as his potential replacement, should a reasonable offer be tabled.

Tuttomercato reports that the Spaniard, who has a release clause of €30 million, is seen by the Carlo Ancelloti-led side as the ideal replacement for one of Europe's best defenders.

Nunez has fallen out of favour at the Spanish club, having made only three appearances for the side in La Liga this season.

The towering defender has been one of the standout Serie A players in recent seasons and was the best defender last campaign.

He has been phenomenal with the national team as well and led his Senegal side to the finals of the Africa Cup of Nations final in June this year.
