Two players of Nigeria senior national team may be heading to Barcelona, according to report in Spain.
Samuel Chukwueze has since caught the eyes of Barca scouts, while Victor Osimhen is being looked at as a replacement for ageing Luis Suarez who turns 33 in January.
Everythingbarca.com reports that Osimhen is among four players lined up as a potential replacement for Suarez.
Inter Milan frontman Lautaro Martinez, AC Milan youngster Rafael Leao and PSV Eindhoven forward Donyell Malen are the other players on Barca’s shopping list.
Luis Suarez has been lethal for Barcelona since checking in from Liverpool back in 2014. The Uruguay international has scored close to 200 goals for the Catalans and also racked up almost 100 assists in a space of just five years. However, at 32, he has showed signs of his form fading away and thus, Barca must replace him soon.
Osimhen, 20, has scored seven times in the French Ligue 1 this season, and one in the UEFA Champions League.
