Former Manchester City manager Stuart Pearce has likened Arsenal loanee Eddie Nketiah to Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah according to Goal.
Nketiah is currently on a season-long loan at Leeds United and has been on top form since he joined The Whites, quickly establishing himself as a fan favourite with his exploits on the pitch.
“I think if I was a striker in this day and age, a young English striker, I’d just copy Mo Salah in his movement, running in behind," Pearce told BT Sport.
“Nketiah’s certainly got that trait about him. The ones that run in behind are the ones that score goals in the modern game.”
The 20-year-old is yet to make Marcelo Bielsa's starting lineup but that does not take away his immense talent and his ability to score four goals from nine appearances for the side.
Leeds United are set to take on Birmingham City on Saturday, October 19.
