Following Manchester United's 1-1 draw against Liverpool, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has lauded Marcus Rashford and Daniel James for their performances in the game.
Rashford struck his first United goal from open play in the 36th minute since the opening weekend win over Chelsea. The 21-year-old continued his goal-scoring streak after netting in the 6-0 win over Bulgaria by scoring his third career goal against Liverpool who got a point thanks to a late equalizer by Adam Lallana.
Speaking in a post-match press conference, Solskjaer heaped praise on Rashford and James, "Best game he's played for ages, maybe in his 10 months with me. He runs off the shoulder of the defenders, he chases, he defends well, he got hold of the ball.
"There was a nice little race between him and [Virgil] Van Dijk in the corner and you could see he is growing and getting stronger.
"He's (James) brave, he gets kicked, gets up again, gets kicked, gets up again, and he must be a nightmare to play against when he gets this type of space and the boy has been a delight to work with and he and Marcus played really well today."
