European champions Liverpool has entered the race for the signature of England forward Jadon Sancho.
According to the Reds former player Dietmar Hamann, while speaking to Sky Germany, Sancho is of 'great interest' to Liverpool and is likely to make a move in the summer.
Sancho has heavily been linked with a move to Liverpool rivals Man United but Hamann said: “What I hear is that Liverpool have great interest.
“I would imagine that next summer they could become one of the biggest interested parties. He's from Manchester City and I do not know if he would come back again, and it's a thing for Manchester United, too, if they've ever been to the rivals.”
Sancho has become one of the hottest talents in Europe after an electrifying start to his career in the Bundesliga but he hit the headlines for the wrong reasons last week after turning late for training after representing England.
He was left out of Dortmund’s squad that beat Borussia Monchengladbach and was handed an enormous £86k fine for his troubles.
