What a night the San Siro Stadium where Inter Milan managed to narrowly secure a 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.
Forward Lautaro Martinez scored a goal and missed a penalty in the second half - despite Antonio Conte's charges not putting on a great display, it still paid off.
Lautaro opened the scoreline for Inter in the 22nd minute of the contest through Stefan de Vrij's solid pass and that set the pace for the Italians going forward into the game.
However, he struggled to convert his penalty to make it a double after Roman Buerki saved the day for Borussia Dortmund as he immediately grabbed Lautaro's shot.
Antonio Candreva scored Inter's second goal in the 89th minute to sink the Bundesliga team in the dying minutes.
That's three points secured for Antonio Conte at home- both sides find themselves levelled having accumulated four points from three matches played in Group F.
