Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has warned his teammates that they need to keep their heads for the remaining Group H Champions League matches to ensure qualification to the next round.
The Blues secured an important 1-0 win against Group leaders Ajax on Wednesday night to send out a 'big statement' to the rest of the opponents.
It was a perfect response from Lampard's boys, who lost their opening match 1-0 at home to Valencia on match-day one.
The team is currently on a six-match winning streak and were clinical in Amsterdam as they ended their opponents' 17-match unbeaten run.
“That win was a big statement against a great team. We are very confident now, but it is also dangerous when you are too confident, so we need to stay focused on what we can do and what we have to do.
“Tactically, we respected the plan from the manager. Everybody was listening to the plan, everybody stuck with the plan. Everybody has been working hard — credit to the team,"
Mitchy Batshuayi was the hero of the night with the winning goal, which he scored 15 minutes after coming on.
The Blues now shift their attention to the English Premier League match away to Burnley on Saturday.
They are currently fourth on the standings after nine matches.
