Kenya international Michael Olunga continued to show why he is Kashiwa Reysol’s best player this season.
Olunga’s exceptional performance on Sunday included a brace and an assist as his side ran out 4 - 0 winners over Avispa Fukuoka. The 25-year-old striker’s first goal was the best of the pair. The Kenyan completed a superb finish to mark his 19th goal in 29 for Reysol.
The former Gor Mahia star showed smart movement to receive the ball on the left flank and took two touches to smash in with a powerful left-foot.
Kashiwa Reysol now look well & over the hills. They lead the J-2 Division two with eight points after 38 rounds. Olunga’s side now need just to see through four more games before lifting the title and earn promotion to the promised land of J-1 League.
