Inter Milan to make move for Matic in January

Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has emerged one of Inter Milan's targets ahead of the January transfer window.

Months after Milan signed Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez on a permanent deal and loan move respectively, Sky in Italy is reporting that the club is considering Matic as one of their targets for January. Antonio Conte lost the 31-year-old while coaching Chelsea and now the Milan boss is keen to reunite with the Serbian.

Under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Matic has fallen behind the pecking order with the United boss preferring Scott McTominay. At the start of the current campaign, Matic admitted he 'disagreed' with Solskjaer's decision to leave him out the team.

Matic's contract with the Red Devils is set to expire in the summer of 2020.
