Mathare United is set to host Posta Rangers in the round 8 of Kenyan Premier League on Friday 1st at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos.
"The goal against Posta last season is still fresh in my memory," he said on Thursday as quoted by the club's official website.
"It was my first goal as a slum boy, one that will be with me for a very long time," he added.
"When we last played them, Posta were struggling to beat the drop, they were low on confidence. This season however they look a much tougher opponent so we face them with a different mindset. It is going to be an exciting match-up, one that we have prepared well for."
"If lightning strikes twice in the same place and I score again against them then I will be ecstatic but what is important is to do my job and help the team win tomorrow."
Mathare heads to the game, having won the last four meetings against the visiting side, with only one defeat in their last eight matches against Rangers.
A win for Salim Ali's men tomorrow will see them claim the fourth spot in the log before other weekend matches.
The match will kick off starting from 2:00 PM EAT.
