Zambia national team striker Patson Daka scored a hat-trick to guide Redbull Salzburg to a routine 3-0 win over Mattersburg in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Coach Jesse Marsch made changes to the team that started in mid-week against Ebreichsdorf with Hee-Chan Hwang coming to partner Patson Daka upfront while Takumi Minamino and Zlatko Junuzovic came on to partner Enock Mwepu and Majeed Ashmeru in midfield.
Patson Daka opened the scores in the 33rd before adding a second eight minutes later to take Salzburg to the break with a comfortable two-nil lead. Daka completed his treble with a late strike to complete an emphatic 3-0 win. The hat-trick is the second the 2017 CAF young player of the year has scored this season, his first came on October 5th in the 6-0 demolition of RC Altach.
Zambian midfield ace Enock 'Computer' Mwepu put in a full ninety minutes shift. The win takes Salzburg to 35 points, Six above second-placed LASK Linz who have played a game less.
