Bayern Munich have contacted Paris Saint Germain head coach Thomas Tuchel over the vacant manager's role.
Munich parted ways with Kovac after just 18 months in charge following a 5-1 loss in the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt which proved to be an embarrassment too far for the club's record. According to Sky in Germany, the Bundesliga giants have already contact Kovac about his availability both now and next summer.
However, PSG says their boss will remain for the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign, and that him leaving next summer will depend on PSG’s form.
Ajax boss Erik ten Hag says he will not be leaving the Eredivisie champions before the end of the season, despite interest from Bayern. Former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is also a target having stayed without a club since he was released by the Red Devils.
