Champions League: Night of stunning comebacks as football lovers enjoy magical European night

Champions League matchday 4 treated football fans across the world to a magical experience filled with loads of goals and action, coupled with stunning comebacks.

A total of 29 goals were scored from eight matches, with Barcelona vs Slavia Prague the only match that didn't yield a single goal.

The Catalans have endured a troubled start to the new campaign, but are still atop their group on eight points.

It was a night of some great comebacks as group leaders begin to emerge, with the Chelsea vs Ajax perhaps the match of the night.

The Blues came back from 4-1 down to draw 4-4 at Stamford Bridge against the Amsterdam-based side, who had two players sent off in a crazy night.

The match also saw two penalties awarded to the home side, who were unfortunate to concede two own-goals.

Still, in Group H, Valencia came from a goal down at halftime to beat Lille 4-1 and drag their campaign back on track, drawing level with Chelsea and Ajax on seven points.

In another similar comeback, Antonio Conte's Inter Milan could not keep out Borussia Dortmund, losing a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 in Germany.

Inter were the better side through the first half, but the hosts engineered a comeback led by Achraf Hakimi, who scored a brace, to pick a vital win in the 'group of death'.

Inter are currently third and have two rounds to salvage their season in Europe or face elimination at the group stage.

In Group E, Liverpool are almost assured of progression after another win, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who starred against the Belgians last time out, the hero once again, scoring the winner.

Napoli lost the chance of taking command of the group after being held to a 1-1 draw against Salzburg, with teenager Haaland once again on the scoresheet.
