The Kenya National Super League has been handed a lifeline after Football Kenya Federation announced that it has secured a three-year deal with a betting company.
Details of the sponsorship deal will be unveiled on Tuesday 12th November in an event set to be hosted at a Nairobi hotel from 10 PM.
Bamba Sport whose deal expired in Septemeber failed to renew their contract, leaving the league on its knees as teams had to pay match officials.
The deal is said to be in the region of Ksh 10 million annually, same as what Bamba offered before they quit sponsoring the league.
Teams in the NSL are set to breathe a new life with Northern Wanderers having folded due to lack of finances, with the deal set to directly benefit teams.
