Liverpool have been handed a major injury boost with Jordan Henderson and Virgil van Dijk passed fit to face Manchester City over the weekend, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed.
Henderson, who missed midweek's Champions League encounter with Genk has recovered from illness. Meanwhile, Liverpool's dependable defender Van Dijk is available for selection with Klopp confirming he has no issue.
"Virg was for other reasons not here [on Thursday] but he is completely fine. Jordan is completely fine. Joel [Matip] is still out, like Shaq and like Clyne. That’s it, probably," said Klopp.
The Reds suffered their only defeat in the league last season away to Pep Guardiola's eventual champions when they were beaten 2-1 in January.
Klopp's men are at the top of the table with 31 points, six points behind second-placed City.
